After 5 weeks of 2 half hour sessions a week, with about 3 kids per group, the fifth grade (to be) band got together to play yesterday!!! I was not expecting much. I mean when my ds practices his sax all 5 of our dogs bark along Plus, they had never played with other instruments before. But, man!!! I was impressed!!! It really sounded like music!! I can't believe we could actually recognize Mary Had a Little Lamb!! I was prepared with my ibuprofen, but I didn't even need it

ROFLOL...my dh taught beginning band for 8 years, and I attended a lot of these concerts! Anytime you can recognize the tune, it's a good concert indeed.
