...and I'm almost hyperventilating! He is going to ZooCamp this week, day camp though. He'll be gone from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. I'm going to miss him! I know he'll be fine but I worry - will they remember to put sunscreen on him? He is SO fair he burns in 10 minutes if the sun is shining, etc. etc.

I think I am obsessing because he starts first grade this year and he'll be gone those same hours as he will for Zoo Camp.

Truth to tell, I've been looking forward to this week for both him And me but now that it's here I'm not.

*Sigh* Just love them so much!!

Oh my goodness, DD went to away camp for 4-days and I thought I was going to lose it. I thought about her everytime I woke up, went to bed and at every meal.

I would have major anxiety over the sunblock, too. Since my dd was burned earlier in the season, I've been even more of a ninny about it.

I hope you have things lined up to keep you busy while he is gone

I am feeling the same way about Kindergarten. My dd is driving me batty and I wish she still took a nap. I don't want her to be gone all day!

Can you put some sunscreen on him in the morning before he goes to camp and give him some to take with him for touch-ups throughout the day?
