What do you do when your son / daughter is dating someone you don't like? Someone that you can probably guess, though you cannot prove, is not a healthy influence in their lives?

Do you learn to live with it? Do you forbid it? Send them to Grandma's' for the summer?

Thankfully my boys have good judgement and I don't worry about their choice of girlfriends. So far all of their choices (and their families) have the same values as we do.


If I had to worry, I would only allow "going out" one night a week, timed phone calls, etc.......I would say that they could be at our house as much as they wanted to be (so I could monitor them.....LOL) though.
