Ds recently grew out of his Crocs that the Easter Bunny got him. He was in a size 12/13. When I went to get him the size "1" it must have been about two sizes bigger! Whereas the 12/13's were super tight the 1's he couldn't even wear because the sling backs were not even reaching the backs of his heels.

Has anyone else found this to be true? Would a cheaper brand be smaller, perhaps? I considered this but liked the Crocs because they are so soft inside.

I had this same problem with my DD. I couldn't get her crocs this year because the size 1 is too huge!

I Only Buy the original Cayman Crocs For DS too. The other ones Are not Made as Well and Aren't as Soft inside.
My 4 yr. old only Wears Crocs - and They last forever!
He needs a New Pair, For school and Right now He is In 10/11 and They just fit him Perfect. The 12/13 's do look too Big ! I Bought him a Pair in that size For next yr.
So I Am Going to get him a 10/11 Pr. Again I Guess , Just to Get Him though the First Months Of School.
Actually I Keep bidding and Losing them on Ebay!

I Wish they sized them Differently like some other Companies do. - Right now A 11/12 would Work perfect for him!

yep I have the problem. My dd has been in the 12/13 for 2 years now b/c the 1 is still so big. Luckily they aren't too tight on her yet so we are good still.

Yep. Even the people running the mall stores will tell you there is a sizing difference between the styles!! You have to try them on, which stinks when buying them as gifts. Also, some are wider than others.

The other problem I'm having is that 2 of us have broken our straps for no real reason.

DS wears a 12.5 but in crocs it is a 10/11. We bought him the next size larger and they are huge.
