My daughter has it TWICE last year. She obviously picked it up from school because no one else we know had it. Fortunately the rest of our family didn't get it from her. I had to cover her with the elimite (sp?) cream, leave it on for 14 hours, then repeat it 10 days later. Her itching was OUT OF CONTROL! She scratched herself bloody and still has some scarring. It was worse at night and she would wake up in the morning with blood stains all over her pajamas and sheets. Some nights she just cried because it itched so badly. The dr gave her a heavy duty Rx for the itching. I can't remember what it was. Thankfully it worked because I couldn't bear to see her in so much pain and discomfort.

I sure hope it clears up quickly for your son. It is a nightmare. Keep a close eye on him in case it comes back you can treat it right away. Good luck!
