These are so cute to hold the "skittles" that we were all obsessing about a few months back! This is not from my blog she just happens to have the same name as me! LOL

I like the idea but how exactly would you get the circles(lids) to stick to the cup?

I made the large containers into ribbon holders. I decorated with paper and emellishments after I punched holes in the top with the crop-a-dile. I will take a picture later and post it.

It says furthur down that she used adhesive but I am not sure how she did it so that you could remove and put back on again without ripping it.

from what I understand...it sounds like she glues on the paper and it would be gift then. But once you get it....then what do you do? I wonder if you could do some sort of flap so you glue on the edges except the flap. Or if you used a brad and made a circle with a flower on it and then you could turn (move) the flower over so you could dump out a few at a time. Does that make any sense to you? I can picture it in my head but I am not the best with words to describe my images in my head LOL

That is a really cute idea! Maybe if you are keeping it for yourself and not as a gift you could also put one of each thing in the seperate cups on the outside somewhere. That way you would know what was inside. In case you had a few of them!

Isn't there an adhesive that is used on stamps to put the clear ones on an acrylic block? Then they peel off and go back on the sheet? Maybe that adhesive could be used on the lids? I have never used it so I am unsure. I just thought that I would throw in my two cents.

You could use a thicker cardstock and score it in the center. Half of the paper could be glued down and the other half could be lifted to get your goodies out.
