My notes are not going to be specific for school. I thought just general smaller notes for encouragement, etc. My DS will start Kindergarten in the fall and his teacher has mailed him 3 postcards so far and he is SO EXCITED to have received these!

Blank smaller cards could work for anything.

I have a book called "Love-U-Grams" and it is filled with notes for sending to school, etc. It also has kids coupons in it and postcards for the children to recieve mail. These would also be good for children who are not school age yet. Another idea, pack the kids little lunches for a picnic at home and pack the little card in there with it. My ds is going into 1st grade. Thet get free lunches in GA so I am going to put them in his snack bag. It would be helpful, though to know what age each mommies children are so that we can send something age appropriate. Is this how you do it? I am getting excited. Swap #11 needs to start.lol

I just made one of the smaller ones...just to play with something (and to use my new stuff!!)...I just did one that says, "I Am Proud of You". *It could be used for anything and anyone...in the mail with a letter, lunchboxes, left in dh's driver's seat, on the back of the bathroom sink, on a dresser, etc. *I used to buy them one at a time for $.89 each to give out here and there to friends, etc. Actually, those with younger kids that aren't in school could just do cute ones without sayings on them. ALL kids know what a smiley face means, and ALL kids old enough to walk, like getting mail! My kids fight over the JUNK mail!! LOL

Hi everyone, I am not going to be doing the card swaps anymore--I did mail # 10 though. I just can't tolerate some of what is going on in other areas of this website. I have been sick to my stomach for 2 days because of what is being said or thought of as "neat, cool, interesting." I don't think it is a place I need to be, and after praying about it several times, I believe that God just wants me to go to a Christian based mom site---I just registered with one and their registration process makes it clear that while we do not judge others, we do not have to tolerate their beliefs and by keeping it exclusively Christian, the bickering won't happen there. I had fun doing the last few swaps, and maybe some day you will be posting on the other site. Take care all and God Bless, Becky

Becky, we wish you well. You know, you don't have to be involved in the other parts of the site to do the card swaps!
