BUT, what is it going to be?!?! I am so excited. I got some cardstock, stamps (HALF OFF right now!), ink pads, and some embelishments. This was my first time shopping for scrapbook/card stuff in forever. I can't wait to get started!!! We need a fall one, Halloween, Thanksgiving...what else?!?! Oooohhh...I can't wait.

Hi, Just talked to ruby1988(she's on her way to Mississppi for a nice long visit after she stops to see a certain someone in Memphis) and she suggested something for the Fall also. What do you all think about "back to school" lunchbox notes? I used to buy the ones from hallmark every year, but they are like 5.00 a box. Instead of making six 4x6 cards, we could do twelve 3x2 mini cards. Instead of an envelope, we could do them "valentine" style and just fold them over or make a simple fastener. It's just an idea. We start back to school on Aug 8!! Some days I just can't wait, others I dread the 9th grade daughter's early morning meltdowns!!!aaahhhh
Really, it doesn't matter to me what kind we do, as long as Im working on something I don't have to feel guilty for leaving my "mess" out everywhere. My kids love to tell everyone that my scrap room is the messiest room in the house. hmmm, 19 days til school........

Smaller note cards sound cool! I still have some 3x3 cards and envelopes left over from last year.

I am joining in #11. How do you do the cards? Stamps? Or any way we want or what? I want to make sure I have all my supplies before we start. Thanks. Also, the lunch box cards sound great!

I think brighteyes runs this here swap thing!! I am just an eager beaver now that I have supplies!! LOL The lunchbox notes sound good to me, too, though. I can stick them in backpacks for the two of mine who like to eat school lunch! LOL And, yep, ruby1988 is coming through to see ME!!! I am excited. Dh is worried she might be a killer on the loose. I'll let you know what I find!

Everyone and anyone can join! You can make your cards any way that you want to do them. I usually use stamps in some part, but it is totally up to each person.

We haven't thought of something for the swaps #11, because we are waiting for all of the cards and bookmarks to get here. The swaps have been going so well that we have been over lapping the mailing process. So as soon as I get most of the cards for the swap #10 we will start a new one.
I Like the idea of a fall one, I also like the idea of the back-to-school mini cards pa_wife. That would be fun to do too.
I will start a new thread for #11 and have the final count of ladies on there. If there is someone that is "New" to the swap pm me and I will fill you in with everything. But I am making notes on list now. And soon will have the final count.....
Have a great day!!!!
Kim
