What am I going to do!? I have SO many pictures on my computer that need developing that I don't even know where to begin. I still don't have the extra money to get any developed...and when I start getting them developed, it's going to be a mess!! I sometimes get this paranoid feeling in the pit of my stomach that I'll never be able to get them all developed and and put in a scrapbook.

How do you decide which to have printed?? How many do you get printed at once?? Where do you START???

Ok, ok...I'm going to BREATHE...they are all saved to disk...so that's a good thing. If the computer crashes, I'll have pictures. I can always keep a list and take them to Wal-Mart to have them printed one folder off of the disk at a time...I'll just have to be sure and keep up with the list. One disk will be tough to do that with....but I'll get it done eventually.

How often do you save them to disk? I don't want to accumulate too many disks, but I'd rather have several disks than lose my photos.

You're doing the right thing - save them to cds. Then you can view the cds/dvds on /TV! As far as developing, you can print them at home or just do them slowly over time. I download mine to Walgreens, little by little when I can to get them printed. I also email them to family, so they have copies, too.

I actually keep them on my camera and Get them printed ot 1 time each month!! (or after a trip so that month isnt as bad!!)
Then I also save to my disks every month (make the folder by months)
then I also put those disks in a Fire proof safe!!!

I do not delete my pics off my camera till they are saved to a disk!!

I'd love to do that, but I can't always afford to do it on a monthly basis when things are tight around here...but I like the idea of saving them in monthly folders and then saving them on disks...that's an idea I'll have to put into action!!

I have all mine backed up too. All my pictures go into folders by month as well unless it's a special occasion...Christmas, Easter, vacation. I also try to upload everything to snapfish that way it's still 'out there' if I screw something up, which is always entirely possible!

I, too, put mine into folders according to month Ive gotten behind on ordering. But everytime we get a little money Ill try to order a couple of months. I just upload them to snapfish. I go through each month and pick out only the pictures I want to scrapbook. I think I'm up to November... so I need to order November through now. lol Im trying to get everything ordered for the retreat!!! (Oh, and I burn all my pictures to disc at the end of each year. One for the safe and one for me. So I just have all of each years pics on a disc)
