My dh got me the Silhouette!!! It is a digital cutter by Quickutz that hooks up to the computer and is soooo cool! I am figuring out how to use it and it seems to be worth it. This way I do not have cartridges and can download fonts and shapes.

The irritated part is that I know that it cost way more than the Cricut and that would have suited me just fine. This is where dh and I disagree on frugalness...ugh.

So hopefully I will have some pages and cards cranked out this weekend since dh is working the entire weekend...62 hours!!!

Let me know how you like it after using it a bit. I've been looking at that. Specifically, do you have to online? I have a laptop and wireless but I was wondering if I would bring it my friend's houses that do not have wireless.

So far so good. It comes with a lot of different designs but you have to purchase the downloads for others thru Quickkutz. It is not prtable since you have to download the software to the computer. At least that is my understanding. I am think if you have it on a laptop you could transport it then. I will be playing with it more this weekend and testing it out.
