I have to say that i am so impressed with all of your work. You do a beautiful job!!!

I have never scrap booked for my boys. However now they are starting to get into sports and different interests and i was thinking of starting a scrap book for each of them. I want to start with a sports focused one for Riley. He's done soccer and baseball so far.

Does anyone do themed books like this?

Where do you all suggest i get a good not too expensive book from? Also any other info on good places to get stickers and such would be great too.

I hope to be showing off a page or two soon.

You can get just a basic album from like Michaels or Joanns or any craft store (even Wal Mart!) Thats where I would get my stickers and stuff too. Of course this is a great site for ideas! lol You'll be a pro before you know it!!! Cant wait to see what you do!

A Dollar Tree store opened recently in my area, they have a huge selcetion of scrap booking supplies. I have never done it so I'm not sure if it's good stuff but it sounds cheap!

I like the Dollar Tree scrapbook supplies, I use them all of the time. I haven't had any trouble with them being "cheap". Costco has great albums for a really good price and then buy the refil pages at Dollar Tree. I also find good stuff at Wal-mart, Big Lots and the local scrapbook store (I shop the clearance section). Good luck, watch out scrapbooking can be addictitive.

Jodie glad you stopped over here! I agree with most look for clearance to start and once you get into it you will know what to look for more. What helps me is getting a magazine like Simple Scrapbooks or Scrapbook Etc and looking at the pages that they have. It kind of gives me an idea of where to start. Good luck and can't wait to see what you got!!

Jodie, do you have a Hobby Lobby where you're at?? If you do...keep your eyes open for half off sales. They run half off sales on their books OFTEN. You can check on Sundays at Hobby Lobby Creative Centers : Home Page to see what's going to be on sale that following week and you can also have them send you an update weekly. Be sure to check the online coupon...or check for the online/ad coupon for Michael's if you go there. They both run good sales, either way. I NEVER buy anything full price....we have a Mighty Dollar (like a Dollar Tree, just locally owned and operated) and they sell name brand scrapbooking supplies for, of course, $1 each pkg. There really is no "cheap" in scrapbooking as long as it's acid/lignin/pvc free...(it will say this on the pkg. or will say archival safe/archival quality)...except for adhesives...just be sure to buy a GOOD adhesive!!
