Ok yes i am scrapbooking illiterate. I just saw the post for the challenge and i did go and get a bunch of stuff for my sons sports book and thought maybe i could try it. Sooooooo i need to know what brads are so i can have them on my page.

Do you need any special equipment to use them?

Thanks for the info,
Jodie

No, you don't need any special equipment. Brads are the thingies that are on the end of a manilla envelope (but on there, they are "opened". ). You can buy a ton of different colors, sizes, etc. for scrapbooking!

I was going to say it's a small nail (because there are some nails called brads) but I see the question was posted in a Scrapbooking thread so I think Blessed's answer is the correct one

Here's a link to a page on Joann's website that shows a bunch of brads. The only tool you need to use is a hole punch. Now, if you get into eyelets, you will need an eyelet setter. There are several different types of those out there! Have fun!
