You're making me want to go to one Bonnie!!! Maybe after DJ is older (and not nursing) Ill be able to go! How much money, if you dont mind me asking, did it cost you to go? Flight? Room? The convention? etc.

It was ALOT cheaper than I expected! *I should also mention that MANY people bring their young children! *There are even special rooms at the facility for moms to feed, etc. *WAY family oriented!!!!!!

$ *250 - Registration
$ *400 - Flight
$ *130 - Hotel

I took $100 cash and debit card for spending if necessary (didn't use!!!!!) and still had money to shop at Target on my way home!

Registration includes: backpack filled with goodies (5 FREE stamp sets from the new book, spiral bound new big book, Holiday Mini, 8 Make & Take Projects, Momento Mall (SU items to purchase only available at Convention), chance to win more FREE products (I did not. * ) *Lunch was included every day, except check-in day, but so much food included. *Sandwich, pasta salad, cookie/brownie, fruit, chips & ice cream variety. *I saved the fruit for the following days breakfast and snacked on chips later.[b]

So busy chatting with others and SWAPing cards, 6x6 scrapbook pages, 3-D items, etc. *It was just amazing! *You should really go to one, it was awesome!

Got to meet Shelly personally and her family. *Toured the home office AND got to pick about 8 orders in the section I was assigned. *WAY COOL!!!!! *I got a section with NEW merchandise! *WOO HOO!!!!

I barely remembered to call my DH because I was so busy that the time just flew by and there was a 2 hour time difference too.

With that said, next year it will be in Denver!!!!!

PLUS, it can ALL be written off on your taxes!

PS - Here is an AWFUL picture of me at the home office. *It was in the high 90's the whole time we were there and had walked all over on check-in day. *My swap bag is right under my boob too! (It just can't be helped!)*

Oh, almost forgot that I attended a SCS Dinner on Friday night and paid $17 to attend that because it was not part of SU. The meal sucked, and I wouldn't do it again. Just not what I thought it would be. I would go out to dinner with a group of "nice" stampers and have a great time!

Hmmmm.. Denver.. I could almost drive there. I could possibly get a pass to fly from my friend. Hmmmm. Do you have to stay in a specific hotel? Did u rent a car or anything?

We did not rent a car because the hotel was only 4 blocks from the convention center. It was nice to walk, but there was also a trans to ride back and forth if needed. The hotel had free shuttle service to and from the airport so it worked out fine. Not sure how Denver would be, but you can stay any place you like because you make all the travel arrangements yourself.

The Shiloh was right accross from the convention center, but they lost power on the first day. Some people were even trapped in the elevator and had to climb out between floors!

We could block off a wing! I know the location of the convention next year, they just haven't released the dates. I was hoping it would be near Ember's Crop so I could tie them in together!
