I was wondering if we could have a mini crop here? Have you guys ever done that? I have done a bunch on other sites and they are so much fun. We have such great challenges here I thougth one of those would be so much fun. I would be willing to help host it and even have a few things we could use as prizes and such. Anyway just a thought I would throw out there and see if anyone else was game.

I have been on several ones but the easiest one is this way: You can do a weekend crop would start on Friday evening and end on Sunday. You list a bunch of different challenges and everyone who completes it would post in a thread for that challenge. You also have games that go on during the crop such as Bingo, a scavenjer hunt, and a word scramble. You also have a thread going for chit chat during the crop. At the end of the crop everyone who completed a challenge would have to post their layout and then everyone who did it would get their name in the hat and you choose a winner for each challenge. You really can run this anyway the point is just to get a bunch of people together on the computer to chat and scrap. On other sites each moderator or guest member host a challenge and they come up with the prize and the challenge and rules. You can do layout challenges, cards or altered items. there really is no rules. Other things I have seen on these crops is a Crop Queen wich is the person who completes the most layouts and challenges. You get the privaledge of being the Queen of the Crop and all the bragging rights for that. If anyone else has ideas or suggestions would love to hear them.

Im not sure I could do a whole weekend... but maybe one day during the week would be fun! Im up for it! Someone set out some ground rules.. organize it and we can do it! I think it sounds awesome.

Thats the good thing about a weekend is that you dont have to be there the whole weekend, you can come and go as you please. You just have the whole weekend to do the challenges. If you guys want I will organize it and set up the challenges. Is there a moderator that would like to help me with all the rules and such that way there is someone who could be the go to person if there are any problems? I will do the postiing and keep up with the challenges, I was just looking for someone who can help me with the site.

Some of the things I would like to do would be a make and take, a couple of games and maybe 10 challenges. I thought it would also be fun to do a chat challenge, which is where you see who can post the most chit chat. I was thinking that maybe the first weekend in May would be good because that would give me time to get all of the challenges together and to put up a list of supplies for the make and take. So if you guys are good with this and the moderators are good let me know and I will get it started.
