Hello everyone,

I am very, very new at the entire scrapebooking idea. I am needing to send out around 45 thank you cards. Most of the dollar stores only package 8 thank you cards in a box so I thought about making my own. I am not sure if this would be cheaper or not.

I was wanting to make the card foldable so I could put the addressses on the outside to save on purchasing envelopes.

Any suggestions?

I make all my own cards on my computer. I purchased a simple publishing program that was free at Office Max after rebates and use that for all kinds of cards, invitations, etc. I then purchased large boxes of card size envelopes at Office Max or I just tape the card w/o envelope to a present. I use a heavy card stock and fold to make the cards. It is pretty easy and you could personalize each card easier on the computer with writing or graphics. I don't know anything about scrapbooking so maybe others will have better ideas how to utilize those materials for making cards. HTH
