Help:

I saw this ad and I know that it is a good price, but it is missing the front cover (as it says below) should I take it for $100? I kind of have the money, but I don't want to pass it up if it is for sure a really good deal....what do you think?

The ad that I found:
HI, I have I cricut die cutting machine that I am no longer using. I run a
tshirt shop in the fond du lac mall. I use to use the machine for cutting out
letters but have purchased a vinyl cutter to replace it. The blade and mat were
just replaced. The only problem is that I removed the fold down front door and
can't find it anymore. It does not effect the machine. If you are interested I
would be asking $100 for the machine. I also have two fonts that could be sold
seperatly for $50 each (Base Camp and George).

Well, I only spent 165.00 for mine brand new (at wal*mart), and it came with a font. This seems to be very well used, and I would be iffy on the condition of it. Plus she's selling the fonts seperately. I can get a new font cartridge for 60!

I don't think I would do it, but that jmo... good luck with your decision!

I don't know about that being such a great deal. with no fold front, that keeps everything safe and clean, and no cartridge, I don't think I would. I think I would barter witht the person for the Cricut and at least the George cartridge for 4125. With CHA coming the Cricut will be on sale soon for about $139 in many places and that includes the George font. Also, you can get cartridges new for $49-54 online, some places as little as $39. The both cartridges are used they should be priced no more then $35, if you ask me. Go look on e-bay, you will see that 3 cartridges, new in box (NIB) are going for about $75, even with $25 shipping (if that) they are onlyh $25 each.
I advise that you look into e-bay first, you can get the deal of a lifetime there. Good luck.

Yeah, I think I'd pass too. She is trying to swindle someone if you ask me. She used it to cut vinly and had it without the dust cover for God knows how long!
