Do you think these would sell?

I made several cards last week while I was doing nothing at work. DH thinks they are good enough to sell, but I'm not sure. Plus...I wouldn't know where to start. Besides eBay, how do you sell cards? TIA...

Cute cards! You are good. I'm sure you would be able to sell them.

Oh, those are cute!!!

I am one of those people who lurks on this forum, admiring all of you talented people. Personally, I have no clue how to go about selling those cards, but I wish you the very best luck!!

I think they are adorable. Do you have a stationery or little gift store you could try locally on a consignment basis? That way, they have nothing to lose but a little space and it can be tried out!

Wany my honest opinion? I like them. I think the backgrounds on a few of them could use something.. just like background stamps or polkadots or something.

As far as selling them.. do you have any small businesses in your area? Like pottery stores? I know a lot of shops like that love handmade cards to sell with their products. You split the profit.

I like them! I think you could sell them on ebay, though I've never done it. What about friends and family? If I had a friend making cards like that I'd definately buy some.

I would buy them! I like others suggestions about small stores in your area and seeing if they would sell them. Also ebay or other selling sites in your area. I have recently seen several people offering homemade cards on selling sites in my area.

As you know, I've been trying to sell my cards, too. I've had the best luck with making them for people and then they like them and want more. I haven't sold as many as I like but I have a few sugestions:
1. DO NOT go to E-bay!! I haven't sold a darned thing on there and you still have to pay insertion fees. Check out the other listings like yours- no bidders

2. DO put a link in your signature line on your e-mail. A lot of people will check it out

3. I have had to undersell my cards in order to attract interest. I think that the proces need to be lower than Hallmark, etc in order to get people to buy them. I make quick and easy cards because someone may want to order 20!!

Good Luck!

I totally agree. Unfortunately, I don't have any background stamps. I think they are really neat but I haven't bought any for myself. I think in the long run I'm going to have to spend a little to make anything. I need more stuff. I need better stuff.

Thank you for all the advice. I did make father's day cards and an anniverysary card for my IL's and a couple cards for a friend that liked them.

I have a feeling that I'm going to have to become an extrovert to do this . Maybe with enough "practice" of making the cards, I can get them good enough to set up at some of our local craft things in the fall.

Thank you for all the honest opinions!!! You guys are the best!!
