I have an embossing buddy, but for those of you who don't, you can make your own. All you have to do is take a small sock (a baby sock would be perfect), fill the toe with corn starch and put a rubber band around the sock above the corn starch to seal it in.

To use it, simply rub the toe of the sock over the area where you intend to emboss. You can shake off any excess corn starch if the area looks powdery. Then simply stamp, shake on your embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat it with your heat tool!!

Thanks. I have an embossing buddy that came with a "lot" of powders but had no real idea what is was for.

They're awesome little tools...they stop static...keeps the stray specks from sticking to your work!
