LOL Yeah, its kinda tricky. I cut the end of the ribbon at a very sharp angle so that the tip can go through the hole.. then I just pull it through and push through the other hole then tie it. Sometimes if the hole is super small and it doesnt work that way.. I push it through with a xacto knife.

I usually use white ribbon on my buttons.. so I buy that thin white silk like Offray ribbon.. that works well.

I have been using a long skinny needle with a long hole in it. Look in the sewing or plasitc canvas section at the craft store. It makes it easier for me because once I get it through the hole of the needle, I can keep going.....

I have that same sewing tool as well and that's what saves MY sanity on the few occasions that I decide to thread ribbon. Ahhh...it is a wonderful tool!!
