I know that this has no bearing anywhere but in my head but I'd really like to know how you pronounce your name. I'd like to know this because I have a friend who spells her the same but pronounces it A-lease-ee-a. It seems like everyone pronounces it A-leasha or
A-lisha.

I have that all the time. In kindergarten the teacher called me A-Lisha. I HATED it!! In church, there are a lot of Hispanic parishoners and my RCIA teacher called me A-lease-eea but I go by good ol' A-Leesh-a. LOL

My brother use to date a girl once that spelled the same. and it was A-lease-seea.
Everyone always had there own way of saying it. She just got use to it. I sure you do too...

yeah, I don't correct people unless they ask which way I prefer. I know that everyone knows someone who says it differently. As a matter of fact, a lady in my RCIA class had the same name but pronounced it differently! (first time I was EVER in a class with another Alicia)
