We would just have to split the cost of the domain name (which is not very much either - I think it is like less than $10) and then the $5 a month for the hosting the site. It would be worth a try I think. One person would have to keep it up and then just send an email to whoevers items are being ordered and they would have to send the items out then.

Another thing to think about it using that freewebs.com. It doesn't cost anything to use it and it seems pretty user friendly. As for keeping things "honest", I think that is going to be the hardest thing to overcome. I guess something else you could do is just get moms from this site with a certain number of posts. That way you know they have been around for a while and aren't just lurkers.

If you would like help with anything, please let me know. I work during the day and have unlimited access to the internet so it wouldn't be a problem. I would love to see what you have done so far. I will PM you my address.

What does everyone else think? Is this something you would want to do?

Here is what I was playing with. I used the name Do Fish Drink because that was a big joke (long story) with some girlfriends of mine in highschool and I always wanted to use it for something. But...for a site to try and sell something it will be easier for someone to find it if it has something to do with scrapbook and/or cards in the title so I started the different one Story of my life scrapbooks (could be scrapbooks and homemade cards).

I have a program to design websites. There would be a page that would show pics of premade pages available and another page for cards. I don't know if you can see the pages very well, but it gives you the jist of it. I have the pics on microsoft picture it so I don't know if you will be able to see them if I email them.

I guess the first place I would try would be to market thems to friends. For example I have a network. I am in 5 different groups that I attend regularly. Maybe none of those people are interested but maybe someone they know is and so on.
I have toyed with the idea of selling pre made pages but at the same time I don't have the web page and marketing skills to make it work. If you get something set up to sell cards or premades let me know I would be more then intersted
