I'm terribly behind in my scrapbooks so I was trying to catch up Saturday night. The creative juices were flowing, my kids were preoccupied with a movie, all was well until..............I ran out of adhesive!!

Which leads to my question - What is your adhesive of choice for paper to paper contact?? I've tried the tape runners and they drive me crazy - I just want to throw them against the wall. So I usually use photo splits. What do you like to use??

I use my ATG gun! I LOVE IT!!! It is actually a tpye of glue runner for framing. The gun cost me about $35 but you get 36 yards of glue for like $2 and change. It totally ROCKS!!

I love my adhesive runner...what kind are you using? I've gotten a hold of a few that made me want to throw them against a wall, so I switched to the disposable kind instead of the refillable kind. I don't normally have too much trouble out of them. I hate photo splits because they just take too long...I'm too impatient. For actual paper to paper (not photo to paper) adhesive, glue sticks are cheapest and work fine on paper to paper. I don't use glue sticks with my photos, though, because that's how I started out and now some of my photos are falling off of the pages.

I agree about the tape runners!! I HATE them also and get frusrated with them. I wish I could find a good one. Where does one find those glue gun that was mentioned?? I just use photo splits - especially when it is photo to paper. If it is paper to paper like Martha mentioned a glue stick is the cheapest and best way to go because you can buy a package of 3 or 4 from the dollar store. I think the only time that a glue stick doesnt work on paper to paper is if it is quite thick like Brazzil paper.

I always use the tape runners, unless I'm needing to tape a very small spot, then I'll use my Zigzag glue pen. I will use the glue stick in the instant that I do run out of adhesive, and cannot get any at that time. It's like in the glass box that says "in case of emergency, please break".

What is the best kind to buy that doesnt get all messed up when you use it?? I agree they would be quicker only if they worked smoothly.

I love Wacky Tack from QVC or AC MOORE and I also like my AMM tape runner, also from QVC.

I use the runner by Tombo Mono. (I think that's what it is;jacked up name, huh?!) I've never had any problems with those, and they are refillable. I've also used one that instead of a straight line of tape, it uses a line of little, bitty glue dots; it's starts with an H, but who knows; the Tombo Mono is WAY better anywayz!
