I use the 12x12 holders as well. The plastic ones are MUCH better than the cardboard ones cuz the cardboard ones cave in all of the time, so I end up taping them together.

And to ship 12x12 papers, just buy you one of those small mailing tubes and roll them up...it's much safer to ship them so they won't get crushed in transit. :0)

I'm not sure what it's called, but Michael's has a big plastic container that you lay the paper down flat in. It holds a TON of paper and only costs about $8. It snaps shut and is wonderful for keeping little fingers out of your scrapbooking!

They usually have it over in the scrapbook storage section, on the bottom shelf. It comes with a big, pink sticker on it.

Good luck!

Oriental Trading has 12x12 upright paper holders so you can store your paper upright. Check them out!

Mailing it...I save all of the 12x12 chipboard that comes as the back of the slabs or in the packaged scrapbooking paper...sometimes I make my own envelopes out of poster board...sometimes, if I have a used rectangular flat rate USPS box, you can cut the ends off and flatten it...put your paper inside and tape the ends shut, wrap it in kraft shipping paper and send it like that. Clean pizza boxes from pizza places also work great.

This is what I do too. It works great and is fairly inexpensive!

I didn't like upright storage for my paper, after a while it got a curve in it from gravity pulling the paper down.

hobby lobby, micheals and joann carry plastic drawer type storage similar to rubbermaid storage containers that fit 12x12.

I almost bought some upright storage containers recently, when my DH pointed out that your paper is then exposed to the elements- especially little fingers! That's why I went with the horizontal holders.

Someday, when I completely copy Ember's scrap room, I won't worry about the little fingers that aren't allowed in!

I used to just have mine in one area of my organizer in my closet but then there was getting to be so much paper that it was getting wrinkled. So I just ordered some cropper hopper storage from Oriential Trading (like Martha mentioned). I am happy with them so far. I keep my patterned 12 x 12 paper in a plastic envelope that is 12 x 12 and you find them at Michael's in the storage section. It works great. My daugther has a bigger one that has divided sections in it for 12 X 12 paper and it also has pockets in the front. It is a very sturdy plastic and works great for her. I got that at Michael's also in the storage area.
