Now I remember why I put off scrapbooking my mom's pictures. I just went through and took them out of 2 photo albums, photo envelopes, and a box. There is a ton! Im talking 20+ years worth of pictures. Im not sure how to handle it.

I mean.. she told me when I took them that I could throw away the ones of ex husbands etc. But.. I kinda wanna scrapbook those.. I mean.. they are memories.. for me anyway.. and I know these will be my albums someday.

Also, there are a lot of family of ex husbands. lol (My mom is on her 5th marriage!)

So.. Im thinking of just doing it all in chronological order.. it would kind of be her life...

I feel like my current step-dad (if thats what you want to call him.) would have his feelings hurt with pics of her ex's but I dont really like him.. so I kinda feel like who cares. lol

Yikes.. I guess I thought I was caught up.. lol

Sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you! I know you will do a great job, your pages always look so nice.

Oh my!! Sounds like you have a plan now!

I know how you feel though. Since I have just started all of this, I am trying to get Bryan and Brooke's books caught up and it is SO hard.

My ex and I split up the pictures...so there are some that I knew I took...and can't find them, assuming my ex has them.

And all of the pics are in albums, boxes, etc... I have tried just doing a few pages of each age...or what I think each age is...and leave it at that...there are a lot of pics still in boxes..

Like the one today with Brooke in the cowgirl outfit...I was racking my brain trying to figure out which Christmas that was to put a year on the page..and couldn't come up with it...it is somewhere between 1999-2001....LOL.

What can you do really???

Yeah! That's the other thing... looking at all of these pictures where Im between the ages of like 6 to 15.. I have no idea.. Im trying to figure out what year it is by what hair style I had!

Yes it is a BIG project. I did that for my mother quite awhile back. It took forever to do it. I split the photos up between my mothers immediate family, my father's immediate family and then my immediate family. It was fun going through the photos but when I got them all separated and put all my immediate family & dad's family in an album. I was VERY sick of photos and gave my mother the rest in a box. I did take them out of the photo albums that hurt your photos. Good luck. I know the album will be awesome because you do beautiful work.
