with your scrapbooking stuff that makes people ask questions?

I have: cotton balls, isopropyl rubbing alcohol, shaving cream, and dryer sheets.

I must add wax paper, aluminum foil, marbles and dental floss to my list!

The cotton balls, alcholol, and shaving cream can all be used to obtain a "marbled" effect on high gloss paper. The dryer sheets are wiped across my powder tray before I heat emboss so it won't stick to it when I try to pour it back into the container.

What do you use dental floss for?

Emery boards....to sand the edge of the paper that I cut, when I am too frugal to change the blade LOL

I use dental floss to remove pictures that I want to move. Just slide the floss behind the picture and "saw" back and forth. Most of the time it will save the paper it is attached to.

Does that make sense?

Perfect sense, Amy. I think I will add some dental floss to my scrapbooking area. I'm redoing my BOM and this is a great tip! Thanks!

bucsnpats, try cutting aluminum foil with your blades.. They will sharpen right up for you.

To rub across cardstock before dry embossing. It makes the stylus glide easier.
