Dh bought me a couple packs of embossing folders for the cuttlebug for my bday. Well, he took the price tags off before wrapping them but kept his receipt. For those of you who don't know, HL hand enters all their prices so the receipt doesn't read like one from a big box store would. Why did the manager insist on sending not one, but two, different employees to go check to make sure they carried what I was trying to return? It just irked me to no end. Especially, as I stood there and told him that HL was the only place in town that even carried cuttlebug embossing folders.

Ok, that's my vent for today. I feel better now.

Oh, yeah! I forgot that part. Yep, I exchanged them for more embossing folders.

I told DH that it just shows how well he knows me that he bought the same ones I already had.

I returned a set of broken decorative punchers a few weks ago to Hobby Lobby. i told them the one was broken and the others stuck so bad that I had to rip the paper to get it out. so i got my money back but imagine my surprise when I was shopping there last week and that exact set was back out on display. I know because I had put my address sticker on the box(like I do all my scrapbooking stuff) and when I peeled it off - part of the label came off. same set - still broken - and no orginal wrapping around the box - trying to sell it again. I guess I need to be careful when i buy something from them to make sure it's in the orginal wrapping. i feel bad for the poor sole who buys it and then discovers it's broken. Couldnt' find an employee to tell as it was Black Friday and it was crazy in the store.
