I'm not even sure what they're called, but you know the type of scissors that cut designs/shapes instead of a straight line? I found some (about 6 pair) at a thrift store yesterday for $1.50 ea. Is that a good price for used ones? I've never priced them...

$1.50 each? I wouldn't say so...Michaels will have theirs on sale 2/1 or sometimes 3/1. If it's a really high brand it MAY be worth it.

Do you use your shape sissors? I have a huge set of them I got a Sams club a few years back and I very rarely use them. I have thought about putting them on the FSOT link but I hate to get rid of them. My kids use them sometimes though. I have like 20 of them that came on a nice wooden spinner rack.

I used to when I first started scrapbooking but NOT anymore. I have given ALL mine away to friends who started in scrapbooking and also my daughter. I did keep a really expensive pair of Fiskars scalloped ones but that is IT!! I am also thinking that I need to GO through ALL my punches and get rid of them too. I NEVER seem to use any of them anymore!!

Nope, don't use scissors. I have the fiskars shape cutter & templates (which I love, BTW, and do use) so if I REALLY wanted one of those designs I could use the side of the templates.

Marla ~ I know what you mean! There are several punches I've gotten rid of recently. I'll keep the ones I use like the circles, squares, scallops, brackets, etc. But the cutesy ones will go unless I really, really like them! (like my frog I got from Sara!)

I actually love my "shape" scissors. I don't use them all the time, but enough.

Hey, we should look into a punch swap or exchange or something. The postage will be high because of the weight. But I have a few I wouldn't mind trading or something.

Something to ponder anyway....maybe I will go start a thread in swaps and trades...
