I have been scrapbooking for awhile now, and have went to a few scrapin gatherings at church and things, I have been lurking in this fourum for awhile now and I am ready to jump in and get started!!

I just have a few questions:

1. How do you ladies organize your crops I am most confused about this!! I was maybe going to participate in one, I am working on my pregnancy journal and I really want to get going on it!

2. What are all these swaps and trades and stuff..... I think I am a little confused!!!

Welcome aboard!!

The crops are once a month, there will usually be a vote as to which days the Host will have the crop so that you can mark your calendar. Then you just wait for the challenges to be posted and jump right in. There are several threads in the Crop Section that should answer your questions.

As for the swaps and trades, I don't get into those too much. BUT the ones I have done are either: A. One person will HOST the swap and 5-8 people will send the goodies to her and the she distributes them and sends one of each item back to all of the participants. or B. Someone will start a "train" of sorts with an evevelope or box of goodies, when it gets to you, you take what you want, add what you have at home that you dont' want, and send it to the next "rider".
