Has anyone used scrap fabric for scrapbooking? I am a quilter and was thinking of using some of my scraps for scrapping. Does that sound dumb? How would you glue it down safely?

I think it is a great idea! I think that I have seen something somewhere that somebody did that. It would be super cute if you could sew it onto a page too! LOL That is what I love about scrapbooking you can totally think out of the box!

I agree with 3lynns, you could just sew it on the paper or attach it with some brads...

Here's what I found on another website
Quote:
Attaching fabric to your layout is just as easy as attaching cardstock. You can sew the fabric onto cardstock; use staples, eyelets or brads; or spray the back of fabric with a spray adhesive. If the fabric is thicker and not transparent, you can even use regular paper adhesive or glue dots.

I do it all the time! I usually sew it on or use glue dots!
