Well, the good news is that the glitter is on its way to all of you!

I went to the PO today. I had three packages that weighed too much to put stamps on. Took care of all of those, no problem. Then, I had all the packages that I had put stamps on already. Asked the lady to throw them in the box for me and she proceeded to charge me 17 cents more for each and every one! I swear this lady just doesn't like me. She's nice as can be to every other person who walks in the door. And all of the other clerks always tell me my packages always have the right amount of postage.

So, please tell me. Are all of you having to pay 17 cents to get your packages from me?

the drama of the glitter continues....I am sorry this has been such a hassle!!! I promise to make something beautiful when I get mine, so the hassle will be well worth it!!!

PS if we lived closer I would offer you a cocktail on the deck this afternoon!

Thanks again!

No. I have gotten lots of stuff from you and never had to pay anything. In fact, a lot of your stuff isn't even post marked! LOL

Sometimes they are persnickity about the size &/or thickness of your envelope not just the weight.....that's why they add the 17 cents. Like some stuff I sent didn't weigh more than a letter but since it was in a small padded envie they charged me 58 cents instead of the previous stamp cost 41 cents.

I have had to pay a little here and there (the last couple of envies) but I know you have had to do the same for me so we are even. But sometimes your envelopes are not postmarked or it just has a line drawn through the stamps with a marker or pen. I actually reused one of your packages because the stamps weren't marked on. Good for me but bad for you....you are paying for postage that isn't even being used really....does that make sense?

ROFL....anywho I have had several from others too that come with like 48 cents due or 36 cents due. No biggie. Lucky for me my mail lady pays it, gives me the package and then leaves an envelope that I owe her the money. So I am not running to the PO to pick up the package! She is nice!

Sounds like a pretty cool post lady, Sonja!

Anyways, sorry if y'all have had to pay postage. I think I'm just going to start sticking another stamp on my stuff and dropping it off in a blue mailbox just so I don't have to talk to the lady!
