None of the pages were super fancy, but I also didn't skimp! Normally, I would never have even thought to do this, but my dd's best friend was moving today..and she brought me a STACK of pics to see if I could "make her a quick scrapbook"!!! Um, hello?!?!?! There is nothing quick about scrapbooking!!! But, I grouped the pictures together in stacks according to the events...and I got to work. I did well over THIRTY pages in two days!!! It turned out really cute, too...and both my dd AND her best friend were thrilled with it.
It also taught ME a really good lesson. I am SO far behind in doing my books....one, I started when my FOURTH child was a newborn (and have had two since him, also!), and two, I take so many pics that I am NEVER going to get caught up...UNLESS....I can MAKE myself do another cramming session (or two or ten!! LOL) and just do what I did with this book. I looked over what I did several times, and the biggest thing I left out was journaling (because I left it for my dd to do!). Shoot....I could totally do that in my own albums...and then come back later to fill them in!! So...once I get my kids back in school, look out pictures!! I figure I will be spending several days just getting them into stacks...but after that, I am REALLY hoping to let this weekend be a guide to finally figuring out a way to get CAUGHT UP!!!! Go me, go me!! LOL

That is a lot of pages! Way to go! I think that you are on to something. If you do have a lot of pictures goign thru and doing simple yet good work is pretty easy. I am impressed and may have to give this a try.

That's great! I would love to be able to actually finish an album!! I have some momentos that I was saving for my scrapbooks and never put in that I think would save me some room if I went ahead and put them in!
