A page or event in your life that wasn't a "good time"?

I was scrapping with a friend awhile ago and she had scrapped her grandfather's funeral. She had the funeral program, newpaper notice and pictures (which is another question for me altogether). It got me thinking that while we scrap IMPORTANT events ~ how many of them are only happy ones?

Out of the norm I know, but does anyone do this?

well I'm sure everyone remembers me scrapping AJ's broken collar bone X-ray! That was a less than happy event for sure! But I don't think I would want to scrap a funeral or anything like that (or take pictures either!) but that's just me.

I dont see why a person cant scrapbook everything that happens in your life. My mother is one that takes photos at funerals of close family members like parents, grandparents. I havent scrapbooked them yet because I think that a lot of people would have a problem seeing photos like that when looking through my albumns but I will LOVE to see what others feel about this subject.

My Mom takes pics at funerals, I do not. It is just not something I would enjoy scrapping. I did scrap pics of my daughters cut under the eye. I put a big plus with first aid and a band aid.

I have scrapped non-happy moments but nothing that would be considered gut-wrenching. I know people who do scrap a lot of the ugly in their lives, that's not for me.

I scrapped about when Jacob was in the hospital but ussually during bad times, I dont think of my camera! LOL I have only been to one funeral and it was a co-worker. I was thinking of scrapping a pge about HER for my Head Start album but not funeral pictures. There was actually a person there taking pictures with her camera phone! I thought that was tacky. Pictures I feel are up to you but a camera phone? yuck!

I remember with the old fashioned photo albums, my Grandma would save the funeral program and obituary from the newspaper. I'm not sure if I would ever have pictures from the funeral, but maybe if I made a page about the person I could ad the funeral program or something, if I had it.

I have never thought about taking pictures at a funeral before, and I have been to A LOT of them! I would scrap injuries and that stuff. If I had pics from a funeral I think that I would scrap them. I just don't know if I would take the pics. I am usually crying or trying not to cry!
