Ok - Kathy brought up another question for me...

Do you keep your brads and eyelets together?

Mine are all in the same compartmentalized (there's that word again ) case, that I just dig through.

Not together. I keep the eyelets in those little plastic things they come in and they're all stored in a small plastic bin. Which is why I probably forget I have them

Separate...no eyelets and brads touching In separate compartmentalized cases too if that's what you mean.

The few eyelets I have are organized in the crop-a-dile case that has compartments in it.

Did I mention?
My brads and eyelets (or buttons for that matter) are kept in different compartments and never the 2 (or 3) shall meet! I have these long kinda flat palstic organizer things with 14 compartments each. If I don't have enough different kinds of brads to fill each spot I leave them empty...for expansion of course! Same with eyelets and buttons. I label the side of each organizer with the kinds of things it hold (brads, eyelets, buttons, metal emblelishments, etc) and I store them all in a stack. That way when I am looking for a certain blue round brad I can just look in the "flat" labeled round brads....instead of pulling out all 10 on the containers to check each one for what I am looking for.
So...in short...NO. I do not store eyelets and brads together.
