I know most of us take pictures of holidays and birthdays, etc... and then think about scrapping them later. Have you ever been in a non-camera moment when it hit you and you think "hey... I should scrap this" and then you go get the camera?

That happened to me twice yesterday. The first time I was shopping at Meijer and Autumn loves the Penny Pony (as I used to when I was a kid) and so I thought to myself I am totally bringing the camera next time! Even though I'm sure people will look at me like I'm crazy
The second time I was shooting baskets with Tristan and he wanted to take a break, lay on the grass and look at clouds in the sky....we were having quite an interesting discussion and I just knew I had to take some pics so I could scrap that moment

Good questions, I voted a little of both. And being an amature photographer, I love taking pictures of "scenery" for lack of a better word, some of my favorite pics are ones without people. And I love to scrap those as well. Funny though, there are some times where I won't have my camera, which is rare, and I will say to my hubby, I should have my camera to take a pic of this, and he will say to me " sometimes the pictures we keep in our mind are just as nice". And thought that was a really sweet way to look at some moments too.

Good question though!!

I do a little of both. Sometimes I make my kids wear certain things because I know we are going here or there and the colors would be perfect. Friday we are having our first photo shoot with my sister...should be fun!

So funny!

Just the other day we took DS to the petting zoo and then went to this little nearby playground in the evening. Well I of course took pics of the first petting zoo visit. But I had also been wanting pics of this playground b/c he is just crazy for the tower slide thing they have, and I had the camera, and there you go. And if you believe it I distinctly remember being a little upset when we got to the playground because he would be wearing the exact same outfit in the pictures for two different pages (likely right together chronologically). Like I should have brought an extra shirt or something - Ha Ha.

Do you think that is a little scrap-obsessive?
