Every night before going to bed I take 2 arthritis strength tylenol so I can sleep through my night time pain. But my head is pounding right now also. Will the arthritis tylenol take are of the headache also or is okay for me to also take some advil? I don't want to overdose myself.

I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I think Tylenol Arthritis is a high dose of acetaminophen and aceta. is for headache also. I would definitely try the Tylenol alone first. I also think it may be bad on your stomach to mix the two.

Maybe someone else will know and be able to help more.

Yes the Arthritis Tylenol should help with your headache. Yes it's ok to take Advil or other brands of Ibuprofen with Tylenol, but you might want to take it with food and space it alittle if you can.

Tylenol Arthritis is just a strong Tylenol, I'm pretty sure it's 650 mg. Tylenol (acetaminophen), Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) and Advil/Motrin (ibuprofen) can call be taken for pain, muscle aches, dental pain, headaches, migraines, menstrual pain, etc. I wouldn't take both Tylenol and Advil. They are both different types of pain relievers, and the Tylenol Arthritis will work fine. You don't want to over medicate yourself.

Hope you feel better today...

Yes, you can take both ibuprofen and acetaminaphin at the same time. They use different pathways in the body. If you're taking regular doses of those two items, there really is no risk. A 'regular' dose is so low anyhow, your body can really handle a lot more.
