I have to sweat, too, but I also have to do something to really push my breathing. Not staying anaerobic, but I have to get myself to that level at some point to really know I pushed it. I have a good friend who is a marathon runner. She says her biggest challenge when running marathons is getting bored. Not exhaustion, but boredom. I think I am along the same lines (though not at all ready to run a marathon ). I can do an hour or so of cardio (jogging, eliptical, etc.) and never really push myself. I have to get to the anaerobic stage at some point to know I really pushed it. KWIM?
