Are they a bad thing? Hereditary? I noticed i am suddenly having more skin tags popping up on my body. I got a few during my pregnancies, but lately i am developing new ones on my neck. Should i be worried?

They are often a symptom of PCOS. I don't know what an increase in them means.

They are a normal part of growing older. If they bother you , have them removed by a dermatologist, don't remove them yourself, they bleed a lot.

they also can be heriditary. i inherited them from my mom. she had tons on her shoulders and neck. i had them removed at a dermatolgist they just snipped them off. only one has grown back out of 52 i had removed. they sting a bit and if they are deep can bleed alot so best to have a dermatologist remove them if they are bothering you.
