Excuse my puns! I have been full of them lately! It's fun, but I'm sure rather annoying

Anyway, just today I took some things into a seamstress to have her make some alterations on some of my favorite jeans (and a dress) that I just can't part with. The bill came to $62 Just to "take it in a little" on the dress and "slim it up" in the waist on four pairs of pants!

Another down side to losing inches is having to get new underwear! Call it strange...but it's true. All my undies are now droopy....so NOT attractive considering they were not intended to be "granny pannies!"

Oh and you know how I feel about the boobs.....or how I like to call them "my munchins". Well of all the areas that lost the most inches, it was THEM. UGH! Buying a bra to fit these little gaffers without it looking like a preteen training bra is SO ANNOYING

So yes, it is pretty cool to see the inches FINALLY come off, it's now becoming expensive......an expense that yes I should be proud of but didn't anticipate!

ahhh but the bright side is $62 for all that is still cheaper than 4 new pairs of jeans and a dress Underwear well who cant always use a new pair lol!

I love your term "the munchins"! I call mine "the girls". Too funny! That is always the first place I lose too...I am sure it is just another curse from the whole Eve giving Adam that dang piece of fruit! LOL

I feel your pain!

Yesterday I put on a pair of pants to wear to church, that I couldn't wear a couple of months ago. I though they look good, till I came out of the bedroom and dh called me "droopy drawers"

My problem is that I lost my weight in my butt and boobs!

And those are both places, that i really couldn't afford to loose the weight at!

I've thought about that but my dh says he'd be happy to buy me new clothes. It didn't sound nice when he said it..lol.

okay - for 62$ i would definitely buy new clothes and i proly could find some shoes to throw in for that price at ross. I'm a digger when it comes to clothes bargains. as for the undies........wear a thong, they never sag

Great job Christy!!!! Making the necessary adjustment is so positive!!! I refer to my munchins as my plums -- and boy I think they have gone to a raisin size since!!!

I agree that it stinks to have to spend the money, but at least its for a good cause. I've lost a couple of pounds and can already feel my clothes are getting loose. It is a great thing, but I can't afford new clothes or alterations right now!
