This isn't for me... my pants don't fit because I'm almost 6 months pregnant!

It's for my DH. He has ripped his jeans all to heck & back (He has a very physical job) so we went out to get new. We always go to Walmart for his jeans because he goes through them so quickly. Well he decided to try Faded Glory this time (he normally buys the Levi's there.) He got a 38x30, the size he normally wears. We got them home and he could not button them! I guess the Levi's had stretched out as he wore them! He's going to take that pair back and get a bigger size... the next size up? A 40!!!!!!! OMG!

My DH is 28 years old, 6'0" and weighs about 250.... To me... that's a lot. I keep telling him to slow down. Drink more water, less pop (he drinks Dr. Pepper like it's going out of style!) And since he got a Fry Daddy for Christmas has been frying everything he can! I don't know what else to do. He prides himself in being the one who cooks the most (he doesn't like that I don't season the crap out of everything!)

So he apparently had a talk with his mom last night and she told him that we're worried about him because his birth father died of a heart attack when my DH was 18. Heart disease and diabetes run in both sides of his birth parents.

What do I do? I can't control everything he eats! I can TRY... but ultimately what he puts in his mouth is his choice.

cuddle him and tell him you love him, and he's not allowed to die if it can be helped.

you could be more aggressive and not buy soda/ bad foods. my dh has a similar soda habit, but i found out that if we don't have it in the house, he's too lazy to go out and get some and will just settle for water.

This isn't about him losing weight, but when we bought jeans for my dh at walmart they never seemed to last as long as when we bought them elsewhere. Same brand same everything they always seemed to last longer when we bought them not at walmart. I don't know if it is just a coincedence or not but that might be something you want to look into.
