Is it me? Is it this time of the year? I'm am feeling so BLAH.
I don't want to contact any friends. I'm barely getting things done around the house. Nothing motivates me. It isn't like I'm a kill-joy or laying in bed crying all day (I'm not seriously depressed) but I feel so out of it - and I don't care.
I don't want to declutter. I don't want to prepare this house so we can list it. I've tried so many times to work on the house and every effort just gets stalled. Hubby won't let me declutter his stuff and, frankly, I don't think it is fair that I should have do all the heavy lifting of the crud he as brought in here. He is an absolute pack rat. We now have half a basement, a barn and his garage to clean out. I'm sick of it but feel horribly stuck.
And I feel fat. I just weighed myself and I haven't gained weight (I may have even lost a little) but I am getting more and more dissatisfied with how my clothes look on me. I try to eat right, get exercise, get sleep but I'm also in chronic pain and, in addition to getting older, there is only so much I can do.
Blah, blah, blah! I hate this.

I don't know where you live, but here I am feeling Blah!!! I am sure it is the weather!! We have had such an extremely cold and snowy couple of months. It makes you feel like not doing anything.

Yup, blah here. Over my cranky day, but just not much getting done. I'd like to go outside and that would probably get me motivated, but it's just too dang cold out, just plain nasty.
Blah.

I think it is the time of year. Winter just does that. Yesterday, I ran my errands and returned home before 12 noon. Once I got in, I sat on the computer and "goofed" all day. Didn't even talk to anyone on the phone.
So, here's the plan. Everyone...go take a hot bubble bath (salts, oils, whatever) that smells REALLY good. Play some music and light some candles. When you are finished, put on your absolutely favorite body lotion. Get in your most comfy bathrobe and slippers and make your favorite hot beverage. Spend the rest of the evening enjoying your good smell, a good book/magazine, a good movie...your choice and relax. Tomorrow is a new day and a new chance!

I'm feeling blah too!! It's the weather for sure for me. I feel this way every winter, I'm so cold natured---I just pile on clothes to keep warm and then I look at myself and feel like I look huge! I also think it's from not having much sunlight! About 2 weeks ago we had a really warm day, I mean warm enough for me to wear shorts and a tee shirt! I went outside and sat in the sun while watching my ds play and I was so happy---then we were back to freezing temps the next day and I was gloomy again. so...
SPRING HURRY UP AND GET HERE!!!!

I'd do this, but I've finally given up on trying to take a bath in our tub. It has the dohicky so the water won't get to high, but at the same time, at that level, I can either sit upright in it and my legs are under water, or I can lay down and my legs are completely out of water (and up the wall). Can't remember how long it is, but it's short (and narrow), and I'm tall.
I gave up when I attempted a bath while quite pregnant, and proceeded to get stuck, then threw my back out, while attempting to get unstuck.
Someday, someday. I'll get a tub up there I can lay in, after I find out that the joists will hold that much waterweight!

It is definitely not just you. I think you just described my life to a tee right now. I think it has to do with the time of the year....it is so blah outside right now...Personally I am not sure how to overcome the blahs....but something has to give.

Add me to the blah list. I just want to cuddle up on the couch and watch movies all day while I eat junk food. It's cloudy and dreary here. The cold is nothing like up north, though.
