The acronym seems appropriate doesn't it? SAD?

See if this is how you are feeling! You're NOT alone and guess what? WE'RE NORMAL.

People with a servere bout should definately seek advice from a doctor.

I know we've been switching to daylight lamps in key rooms as a boost of light therapy. The room where I spend most of my time during the day has a couple of skylights, too, which I think helps.

I also take a weekly mega-dose of Vitamin D (prescribed by a doctor) for my arthritis and I do think that helps also. Of course, simply being outside and getting a little exercise would be great.

I totally have this right now! I'm so sick of the cold and snow and darkness. I have no energy or motivation for anything!

.

I definitely agree with this. Just because many people have it doesn't mean it's "normal". Any severe or even moderate depression that persists should be mentioned to a doctor.

Wrong choice of words. I should have said "more common than we realize".
