I was wondering how do you incorprate the bible (such as scriptures and passages) into your child's life. Do you do daily bible reading, learning scriptures or what? How do you make religion and the bible intresting to your children?
How do you incorprate the bible into your daily life also?

What we do so far, and I would like to do a bit more; we pray at dinner time, ask my oldest questions about God and Jesus and I read from his children's Bible before bedtime. I would like to read a scripture at dinner time as well and get into the habit of doing that.

We try to memorize a verse each week, say prayers each day. One way that I think is amazing when there is an issue, in the back of my DH's NIV Bible there is a section that tells you where in the Bible that it talks about that (there is a section for your feelings and issues that directs you where to go). For instance my oldest was having troubles with a friend at school and DH looked in back of his Bible and he read the verses recommended and it did help her. We recently started to do that and it seems to be a great way for our kids and ourselves to learn the Bible.

we pray together
also singing bible songs is a great way to "hide the word in your heart" as children LOVE music and it sticks more than just reading

We read a Bible passage and pray together as a familiy every night before bed. Our autistic daughter refuses to go to bed without having prayers first.

We also have Bible as a subject in our homeschool and memorize Bible verses as a part of that.

We pray for our children daily. That's very important.

But I think the most important way we incorporate it is to apply it to daily life situations throughout the day. Like when the kids aren't getting along, someone lies, or some is being very kind and we appreciate that. I don't think all the memorization and Bible reading in the world will do very much for my kids if dh and I don't live by what we're teaching them. Which also means I end up apologizing to them when I'm wrong/crabby/unfair/inconsiderate.

I hope I'm not giving the impression that we do this perfectly, because we definitely don't. Neither dh or I grew up in Christian homes, so this has all been a learn as we go things.

True story.

I use to test K-3 graders for their reading. This was individual testing so I spoke with each kid alone, meaning they weren't getting their answers from their friends. Anyway, the best readers in the 3rd grade class all read the Bible at home with their families. It makes sense. First the families were at home reading with them. Second the Bible has some pretty difficult names.

Ds has a couple of kids picture Bibles and he loves Sunday School every week. I keep meaning to start sitting down and reading actual verses to him but so far we haven't. Also about 1/2 his movies are either veggietales or a Bible story. We pray every night before bed and talk about God during the day. I think imparting, by example or explanation, morals and a sense of God is more important at a young age than learning actual verses. I personally have a quiet time reading and praying every morning for about an hour. When I miss a morning I feel less centered during the day.
