Hey Girls...it has been awhile but I am back! Wednesday was "Day 1" of the revamping of me! I am going to eat more carefully (not ready for a full fledge diet yet!), work out more regularily (4-5 x a week) and beging my "spending freeze" Here's my update...

Day 1 & 2 were good...day 3--today--not as good, can't get to the gym today and really wanted to...one of those days I can't go bercause my kiddies have made some poor choices and can't go anywhere fun--and it is a day off of school---bummer! But I plan to play some active wii games tonight...if I sweat I will count it as a workout---fudging alittle, but active games are probably better than my preferred guitar hero!

I'll keep checking in...good luck to you all!

Husband out of town all week + holiday (no school) + one sick kid at home = not much exercise for me this week. I did have a very productive week in my house, though. We are going to put our house on the market next month so I have been in work mode since the first of the year. I have been really preoccupied and not really focusing on exercise much this month.

Still having ankle problems, but I did okay. I went for a ton of walks with my foster dog and other beasts. I probably did about 15 miles of walks last week. I went to step aerobics once. Rode my mountain bike for 2 hours one day and rode it to work and bike another day. Gym for weightlifting twice. AND...I actually ran twice! One mile one day and two miles yesterday. Ankle is a little sore, but at least I was able to do something. Maybe someday I'll be back to running 20 miles.

Well, let's see...my 1-month goal is to start working out 4xweek and so far this month I've managed 2 times. My eating has been a little better though. Maybe if I can get the Geotrax out of the livingroom (the only place there is to do videos) I'll do a little better.

This was a pretty good week for me.
Mon- hit the gym and did my upper body workout plus 30 minutes of elliptor
Tues- hit the track with my friend M. We walked 2 laps, ran 1, all the way through 3 miles. One lap is 1/3 of a mile.
Wed- hit the gym and did 30 minutes of bike plus my lower body workout
Thurs- hit the track again...this time walked a mile, ran a mile, and walked a mile.
Fri- my body was just exhausted and still a bit sore, so I took the day off.
Sat/Sun are my normal rest days.

I think for this week I will skip my Wed workouts to give my body extra rest between running days and go to the gym on Friday instead.

Glad to hear that you are all "trying" to do something -- great job!!!!

My week (last week) was good; started a new exercise routine of doing upper/lower body splits and one full body workout. I'm trying not to let this weather get me down - it has been downright cold here in Upstate NY. I could deal with snow but not the bitter cold!

Keep pushing hard everyone!

Great work to everybody who did something this week!
I did not! I am still coughing and flu/cold is gone, might walk a few miles tonight, but I have taken it easy this week, will probably start up on the weekend
