I didn't see a Friday check in this week, so I hope I'm not out of place posting this.

How did everyone do this week?

I went back to Body for life style eating and cardio and lost 3 pounds this week--I never lose more than 2 so I was excited. I got 5 days of working out in and though I meant to do 6, I feel pretty good.

I did very bad. I did eliptical only one day. Boo me. Very busy running after toddlers all day but that doesn't really count.

Thanks for starting this thread! Great job Vicki on the 2lb loss! Are you just following the BFL concept with protein & carb at each meal?

I had a good week - 3 days of running & 3 days of ST (a 2 day split & 1 full body). And then did more remodeling in my kitchen that gave me some extra cardio/ST!!!

Thank you! I think we all had a pretty busy week last week and just didn't get around to it!

Good for you with the Body for Life. I too just got started, a week late. My running partner and I started our first work out yesterday. She's been doing the diet all last week leading up to it, where I just started yesterday. She has already lost 3 lbs...woo hoo!

We managed to get another friend of our's on board and had her in the gym with us yesterday. This is a first for her to really get into lifting iron. She did GREAT! I can see this really paying off for her too!


We have a month until the half marathon so our longer runs now will be 9 miles and +. Today is a nine miler day...maybe more...then we taper during the week 5-6 miles.

I'm excited to get back into lifting weights. Because my time at the gym is so rushed in the mornings with having to run the distances and then hurry home to take ds to kindergarten, it's nice to now have a schedule in which we know when the days are that we run and which days we lift

Did you ladies take your before pictures...and measurements? I hope you did. I'd like for us all to do a private reveal at the end of the 12 weeks! (if you are willing of course)

HOw did everyone else do?

Three workouts again last week! The next two weeks may not go that well though. DS is having his tonsils out on Wednesday and will be off school for that and spring break, so I'm not planning for much.

I didn't take before pictures at the start of this last week, but I did take some mid January, a few weeks into my weight loss kick.
