Has anybody tried this, I was surfing Netflix for another workout, my knees are killing me with The Firm workouts, I need something with less stepping up and down.
I saw the biggest loser has a workout video and the reviews on there were pretyy good, I should get it tonight, will try it tomorrow morning.

I have the biggest loser dvd and I'll be honest - it's not challenging enough for me...it's great if your just starting out - but if you've been into the exercise thing for a while - it might not give you that accomplished feeling. I've even increased the intensity and when you do that (on the DVD) - it's all jumping. If your haveing problems with your knees (which I have too) - it may not be worth it for you!

I have some advice for you and your knees, especially concerning the Firm work outs

When you do the lunges, squats and use the Fanny Lifter be very conscious about putting your weight in your HEELS as opposed to the balls of your feet. Sometimes if these exercises are not done with perfect form your knees will pay the price. AND you always want to make sure your knees do not outstretch your toes. Squats should feel like you are sitting down in a chair.....and almost feel like you are about to fall backward. That is how you know you are doing that correctly.

When doing the above mentioned movements, which occur throughout 90% of the videos, keep in mind your leverage should be coming from your hamstrings and your booty as opposed to the majority of your leverage coming from your quads. If you start concentrating on doing it that way, you will notice a big change in your backside and possibly less stress in your knees!

I will keep this in mind, that is why I love netflix, I will try it and if I dont like it, I can send it back. It jsut looked good by having larger, normal people working out, and the trainer is VERY cute, I wouldnt mind looking at that while I work out!
