Ok girls.....it's been almost a month.

How many of you have made a conscious effort to do at least 30 minutes of cardio THREE times a week? C'mon, be honest!!! Hold yourself accountable.

I have to say I've been good. I try and go to the gym at least 4 days a week. I run for 30minutes which is also 3 miles/5k. I am happy with that. I sometimes do an additional 15 minutes of incline work, but for the most part I am happy with my thirty minutes!!

Anyway, for those of you looking to BE A BETTER YOU, I may have found an inspiration for you, or maybe something to get you jump started before the holidays suck the life out of you.

Be a BETTER YOU!!!

Check it out and see about getting those pants back on again.....let's get rollin' ladies!

I think I got maybe 3 30 min. sessions the whole month. I just can't seem to get motivated. I really should because yesterday I was walking into a store and caught a glimpse of my reflection in the glass. What is the deal? I don't look that way in my mirror. It was totally horrible.

If I average out my month ( 1 week was eh, while the others were good) I averaged 3 days a week! I'm picking up my pace and this week it has been 4 days (Sun-Wed). I'm really enjoying walking...It's me time and it calms me down when I'm stressed!

How about weekly? That way we won't feel as completely unmotivated!

If it makes you feel more accountable, start a journal in an MS Word document. You can journal your food intake as well as your activity each day. Then at the end of the week when we all report in, you can just copy and paste your journal entries or refer back to it and let us know how you are doing!!

Good luck!

Great idea using the journal.I don't know if any of the rest of you have to see it on paper and that keep you motivated but it does me.It is like a pat on the back even if it is from myself!

Someone has to do it right lol?

Weekly would be fine.

Would anyone like to share there morning workouts?I don't stick with videos good.I tried and failed at it.I get to bored with it.I like to do different things.I am going to make a list of different things I can do to start out.I know it is going to be slow and easy at first and work up to a longer workout.

Here are some ideas I have so far-

jump rope
run in place
jumping jacks
leg apart stretching to my toes
sit ups
push ups(don't laugh but I can only do 5 and I hurt-this will be something I really want to increase).......

Anymore ideas?

I'm here! I'm here! I have been doing at least three days a week for 30 or more minutes on the treadmill! I even walked on Thanksgiving!
