I think I would like to grow up in the 50's. I loved the styles and the culture....

Depends on what age you consider "growing up." I would have liked to have been in my early to mid-20's in the late 60's/early 70's, but I don't think someone with my personality would have been happy as a tween/teen in the 50's.

I guess I thought of "growing up" as my high school years. My high school years were late 70's early 80's, and I wanted to be a child of the 60's. I wanted to see the Beatles in concert, protest the war, wear flower child clothes and sing Hare Krishna.

Now, if I had that wish, I'd be approaching retirement with my savings wiped out, so I guess it's good that I got saddled w/ disco instead...

being a woman, i'm not sure i'd want to grow up and be an adult in an era when having a baby meant you hoped you passed out so the doctor/midwife could deliver it with or without your help....
if i was sure i wouldn't have a baby, i would love to have grown up in the 60's. so many social changes.

OK, now I know that when I found you, I found my people!

I always was intrigued by the Roaring 20s with the cute bob haircuts and flapper dresses.

60's and 70's since that is when I did grow up! I would never want to change anything.
