What did you say to that person ? How did they react? How did it make you feel?

I try to say something nice to at least one person every day, even if it's something as mundane as "Cute shoes!"

This is my latest goal as well.

In fact last night at DD1's birthday party I gave a compliment to every single person. I love how they all responded, espically the kids.

I recently overheard a woman voice concern about how appropriate her daughter's church attire was, so when I saw the girl wearing a beautiful new dress on Sunday I complimented her on it and said she looked really nice (which was true, she is such a beautiful girl.)

I told my friend she looked great this weekend. She lost 24lbs on WW!!

I try to compliment people (especially my family) often. I like to make others feel good and that makes me feel good, too.

One of my closest friends is debating having children (the cost, her age, everything). I sent her an email telling her that I know the world would be a better place if she had a child. She is a wonderful person and I know she would be a wonderful mom, and that we need more nice people having great kids. She emailed me back that she was in work and the email made her cry, that she was so happy to see what I wrote. I meant it, truly. And I do try to compliment people too, as much as I can.

I try to compliment my children daily (something real and nice that they have done). I probably should attempt this is my DH a bit more.

As for a random compliment, I gave one to a woman yesterday at the grocery store. She was older and wearing a butterfly t-shirt. It was pretty and I told her so.

I told my son today that he is an awesome swimmer. He is 4 and just started swimming like a fish the other day.

I try to compliment my kids everyday. Need to work harder to remember to compliment DH everyday too since he ALWAYS says something nice to me.

I just told a lady at work that I love her shoes. She went on and told me the story on how she got them.
