I agree.

I want to live longer so my kids don't have to grow up motherless and my grandkids will have an grandma to enrich their lives.

I don't ever want to be a burden to anyone and if I'm not living life WELL as phoenyx said, I'd rather not live at all.

It is hard to say but loosing my FIL a year ago was really hard on us. We are both 29. Dd was 3 at the time and understood way to well what happened to her Papa she still askes here and there if she can have just one more day with him It is so HARD. He was only 63 My SIL was ONLY 19 when he passed away it was very hard dealing with our emotions, dd's and helping SIL as much as we could at the time. There are way to many people I know that are dieing at a young age. MY FIL yes had cancer but it went undeteted for over a year and if he went to the dr regularly it would have been caught. It wasn't till it spread to his liver.
So with that said I want to live longer and have a better quality while living also.

I think it is just human nature to try to avoid death.
