Well Skimommy how was your week? You and I are the most regular posters for this thread !
Anyone else joining in, what were your biggest hurdles/struggles this week? What victories (large or small) did you have?

I had a typical week but then I had an awesome run on the treadmill yesterday and tried SPINNING today! Boy did that kick my butt!!!! I was so happy I tried a class, I would've never pushed myself that hard. I am going to try hard to work that into my schedule every Wed & Fri. I also switched up the strength training this week and went back to free weights. Basically, my entire body is sore for the weekend Thanks for the suggestion (HUGS).
How bout you Christy?

I haven't checked in in ages, oops
As usual, nothing impressive. My big ol' belly is starting to complicate things. A couple of weeks ago, I started to get cramps and Braxton Hicks when I ride the exercise bike I'm bummed since it's such an efficient and easy workout. I still try to get on the bike a couple time a week, but have to ride slow and get off when it starts to hurt, ugh.
The weather has been great, so I've been focusing on walking, getting out for a 2-3 miles walk at least 3 days a week. I rediscovered the track by my house. It is flat so I can do 3 miles with no problem, my lower back will start to hurt, but nothing bad. This week I walked the track once, went to the zoo and walked at the beach. I know the weather will turn soon and I'll be hopping on the treadmill.
I'm still doing the weight bar 3 days a week to keep up my upper body and core strength. It feels good to stretch my back muscles.
27 weeks today and I still haven't gained a pound (I have no idea how I'm accomplishing this, the baby is measuring ahead and has already started to squish my stomach!)

My biggest victory was not eating out all week! I am so proud of myself!
I told the kids NO when they asked for Mc Donalds and when I got a late start on dinner this week, I would have normally went and picked something up. This week, the light bulb came on, and when I went shopping, I found some good quick meals. I had a BOGO coupon for Birds Eye Steamfresh meals, I bought a small pkg of precooked ck faijitas that I turned into quesadillas, and I made lasagna rolls from scratch (that we ate off of for 2 days)!
My biggest hurdles- UGH! I am the room mom for my 1st grader. We have parents that refuse to return phone calls or emails about contributing to a Halloween goody bag. So, last night I typed up a letter introducing myself and put a large box at the bottom asking for donations for the goody bags! I am crossing my fingers and hoping that this works! I don't want to fund everything for this party.
Got to enjoy seeing 2 of my 3 kids at the preschool pumpkin patch and am hoping that my 1st grader will still get to go on his field trip to the patch. Please don't rain again!
Next week is a CRAZY week. I'll check back in with you girls Friday. BTW- I love the thread! Haven't seen it before!

The biggest hurdle for me this week was taking care of my sick hubby who had the flu. I had a hard time trying to keep the kids out of his face. So far no one else has gotten it yet!!! Praises!!!!!! I found out this week that I am going to get to teach a cycle class at the YMCA!! I am soooooo excited!!!!!

I have been totally slacking with working out for the last couple of weeks. I am telling you, it really seems as soon as I get on a roll of doing something, then I get sick. I have had the flu but am finally getting to the point where I can start doing the treadmill again. I didn't do anything technically last week, but on Saturday I did get on the treadmill for 2 1/2 miles. This morning I am trying to get back into the routine before I have to get DS up for school and before I head into work to get some working out in. I did do the treadmill this morning. I only had time for 20 minutes on it. I am hoping to wake up earlier so I can put more time in. My goal is to also start doing some weights in the evening or to use the Wii or something at least a few times a week. Hopefully, I will use this thread for accountability.

I am STILL a stranger to my treadmill
